Infrastructure for cultural industry development in the context of Vietnam

Currently, the cultural industry, an emerging industry associated with knowledge economy and digital economy, has been strongly growing in the world, bringing high profit, making a shift of economic structure, and positively affecting other sectors of economy. The activities of this kind of industry are mainly related to creative ideas and application of science and technology, especially digital technology. Vietnam has recently paid more attention to promote the cultural industry. However, the cultural industry in Vietnam is just beginning and lack of conditions for development, including the endemic infrastructure system. Therefore, the planning of the cultural industry infrastructure system should be an urgent task and in order to implement the developing strategies in this sector, it needs preparing a basic infrastructure which is in accordance with Vietnam context both theoretically and practically. This article focuses on analyzing the global development factors in cultural industry and from which proposes general views on developing cultural industry infrastructure in Vietnam. The scope of the research is on the entire territory of Vietnam and from now until 2020, vision to 2030.
