Research influence of pressure in the moulding of soil brick by semi-dry method
Semi-dry pressing method is applied in the technology of producing non-baked bricks because of its high density, good waterproofing ability, suitable for fine powder coatings. This paper deals with theoretical and empirical research on the moulding of unbaked bricks in a high mold using one side static press method. This paper shows the relationship between pressure and settlement of the product, and the distribution of pressure by height of the product. The test to determine pressure were performed with bricks from soil at a moisture content of 12%, establishing a graph of the relationship between settlement and pressure. The results of the study are the basis for calculating the basic parameters of hydraulic brick presses.
